Shivagange is a mountain peak and Hindu pilgrimage Centre located near Dobbaspet, in Bengaluru. Shivagange, a hillock situated 56 km from Bangalore, is a combination of temples and scenic beauty that makes it both a pilgrimage as well as an adventure spot. Shivagange is located near Tumkur road, nearly 8 km from Dabas Pet. Highest altitude here is around 1350 m. There are stairs (steps cut into the rocks) all the way to the top. The view from tops is awesome, worth a 2 hrs long stay (of-course depending on climate). It takes around 1-1.5 hrs to reach the top (depends on you fitness level).
