School innovation marathon: The Department of School Education and Literacy

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog and AICTE, is organising Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 on 13th October 2025. School Innovation Marathon (SIM) is envisioned as India’s largest school-level innovation challenge, jointly organized by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, The Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education (MIC), AICTE and Yuwaah, UNICEF. In the School Innovation Marathon 2025-26, students have to identify real-world community problems and then develop solutions to those problems with the help of innovations. These problems are targeted at a specific topic or theme. The program will run from July 2025 to January 2026.
