NMMS full form National Merit Cum Means Scholarship or national means cum merit scholarship scheme 2025 is an initiative of the Central Government of India to encourage all students to carry on their studies after the 8th class onwards. Students from class 8th to class 12th can participates in the NMMS Scholarship on NMMS Scholarship Portal. The NMMS exam full form is National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship. MHRD conducts the NMMS scholarship exam 2025-26 for the students of Class 8 in November/December/January. NMMS full form is the National Merit-Cum Means Scholarship, conducted for students of class 8. Every year, MHRD disburses 1 Lakh scholarships at the rate of INR 12,000 per annum. School Education Shagun is an over reaching initiative to improve the school education system. The initiative involves creating a junction in the form of a platform for all portals and websites of the Department of School Education in the Government of India and all States and Union Territories (UTs).
