Linseed oil , or flaxseed oil , is a potent natural ingredient known for its ability to enhance skin health through a combination of moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging properties. Linseed oil, also known as flaxseed oil or flax oil (in its edible form), is a colorless to yellowish oil obtained from the dried, ripened seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). Linseed oil , edible and industrial vegetable oil made from the seeds of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum). Flaxseeds and food-grade linseed oil (called flaxseed oil in some places) are considered to have health benefits and are ingested as a food.
