Leo is a Tamil-language action thriller film starring Vijay, based on the 2005 film A History of Violence. It is the third installment of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, a shared universe of films created by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The director confirmed not making Leo 2 , owing to Vijay's announcement of film retirement. He also revealed that he has plans for making Vikram 2 with Kamal Haasan, and a stand-alone film about Fahadh Faasil's character, Rolex, which will end his universe.
