Originally hailing from Himachal Pradesh, Shri JP Nadda was born on 2 December 1960 in Patna, Bihar. After completing his BA from Patna University, he studied LL.B from Himachal Pradesh University. Shri J P Nadda also interacted with senior officials of the Union Health Ministry after taking charge where he was briefed about the ongoing projects. The Union Minister was received by senior officials of the ministry including Shri Apurva Chandra, Union Health Secretary and Smt. Roli Singh, Additional Secretary (Health). Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda is an Indian politician and In June 2019, He was elected the National Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party and in January 2020, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Early Life He was born on 2 December 1960 in a Brahmin family to Dr. Narain Lall Nadda and Shrimati Krishna Nadda . He was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Gujarat and took oath on April 6, 2024. On June 11, 2024, Shri J . P . Nadda assumed the role of Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
