A new joint Arm/SCSP Paper just published online a few hours ago, argues the next wave of AI must shift from cloud to edge to slash energy, cost and improve latency and privacy. It claims edge AI can cut energy use up to 60% for equivalent workloads. The paper doesn’t mention “neuromorphic” or BrainChip by name, but it strongly backs the exact themes Akida benefits from - on-device AI, ultra-efficient inference, small language models, and heterogeneous accelerators at the edge. Their ... With BRN ’s gaffs with their website and common mistakes they often make in pressos , it’s hard to say if it’s intentional or not. Does anybody know what happened with Valeo ? have they trialled akida and moved on ? . Not specifically BrainChip related but I found this recent discussion with Coby Hanoch from Weebit about the differences around cash receipts, revenue and the different sources (licence fees, engineering fees, royalties etc), and the associated typical timelines very interesting and enlightening. I believe this will all become very relevant to us over the coming years. May be considered somewhat dry by some but considering how long we've been waiting, music to my ears. BrainChip Holdings Ltd. (ASX: BRN ), alongside a burgeoning ecosystem of innovative startups, indicate a technology on the cusp of widespread adoption. Its potential to revolutionize edge AI, autonomous systems, healthcare, and to significantly mitigate AI's environmental footprint underscores its long-term impact.
