Brij University, Bharatpur was founded in 2012 by the Government of Rajasthan under the Brij University, Bharatpur Act, 2012, with Professor K. D. Swami serving as the inaugural Vice Chancellor (VC). The institute is overseen by the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, who serves as the Chancellor.
