This latest model is based on the Chetak 35 series and replaces the older Chetak 2903. Bajaj Auto, a pioneer in India’s automotive sector, has officially launched its most affordable electric scooter yet—the Bajaj Chetak 3001 , priced at just ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Building upon the legacy of the Chetak nameplate, the new Chetak 3001 replaces the outgoing 2903 model and joins the updated Chetak Series 30 lineup, offering an appealing mix of affordability, premium build, and practical technology for the urban commuter. The Chetak 3001 Electric scooter comes equipped with a 3 kWh battery, a 127 km range, industry leading bootspace of 35L, and a top speed of 63 km/hour. The standard features of Chetak 3001 include Reverse Mode, USB Charger, Roll over detection, Auto Hazard Lights, AHO Headlamp, Open Glovebox and Chetak Companion App.
