Uma chetry: Became the second female cricketer

Uma Chetry became the second female cricketer from Assam, after Ritu Dhrub, to play Women ODIs for India, debuting against Bangladesh in Navi Mumbai. The biggest change is that wicketkeeper batter Richa Ghosh has been rested for this game, and has been replaced by Uma Chetry , the keeper batter from Assam who was included in the side after Yastika Bhatia sustained an injury and had to be removed from the World Cup squad. Uma Chetry made her ODI debut for India against Bangladesh in the Women's World Cup. Meanwhile, India have won the toss and chose to bowl first. Uma Chetry (born 27 July 2002) is an Indian cricketer . She currently plays for Assam as a wicket-keeper.
