Tamil actor Vijay on Thursday unveiled the flag and symbol of his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam ( TVK ), in Chennai and said his party will follow the path of social justice. The flag is red and maroon on the top and bottom, and yellow in the middle with two elephants and a Vaagai flower, which symbolises victory. TVK Flag : The flag features bands of red and yellow with two war elephants on the sides and a peacock encircled by stars in the center. The red and yellow bands with two war elephants in the flag symbolize people's force while a vaagai flower represents victory. In February, while announcing the launch of the party, Vijay had said that he would be contesting the 2026 assembly election in Tamil Nadu. His party did not align with any political bloc in the recent-concluded Lok Sabha elections. The flag looks majestic with the two colours red and yellow along with two Elephants saluting the beautiful Taraxacum Laevigatum flower logo surrounded by stars printed in the middle.
