Shri Sheetla Mata Mandir (श्री शीतला माता मंदिर) is dedicated to Devi Kripi/Kirpai, wife of Guru Dronacharya. This temple is located on Sheetla Mata Road in Gurgaon city of Gurgaon district in the state of Haryana in India. This temple is very famous and is visited by a large number of people. Sheetla Mata Temple (/ ˈʃiːtlə ˈmɑːtə / SHEET-lə MAH-tə, Hindi: [ʃɾiː ˈʃiːtlaː maːˈtaː ˈməndɪr]) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Shitala (Sheetla), wife of Guru Dronacharya who was the teacher of the Pandavas and Kauravas according to an Indian epic Mahabharata. Sheetala Mata Mandir is a major pilgrimage site in Gurgaon , dedicated to Mata Sheetla Devi, who protects children from small pox. The temple was built by King Surajmal of Bharatpur and has other deities like Hanuman, Shiva, Shani and Durga.
