‘ Samagra Shikshana - Karnataka ’ functions as a Mission in the administrative control of the State Project Director for facilitating Universalization of Education from pre-primary upto Pre-University within a specified time frame as outlined by Govt. of India and Govt. of Karnataka . The English Cell, at Samagra Shikshana Karnataka , was created to garner the English language skills development needs of children pursuing their education in Government Schools in Karnataka . Samagra Shiksha - an overarching programme for the school education sector extending from pre-school to class 12 has been, therefore, prepared with the broader goal of improving school effectiveness measured in terms of equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes. Karnataka Public Schools have been started from the year 2018-19 to provide quality education from pre-primary to class 12 with the administrative, academic and functional integration of existing schools, in line with the policy of “ Every child should be in school and learn well”.
