PM - Kisan ( PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana) is a Central Government scheme, offering financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹6,000 per year to farmers to help them purchase agricultural products and reduce their dependency on informal credit sources. PM - KISAN is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India to transfer Rs 6000 per year to the accounts of farmers. The portal provides features such as self-registration, Aadhaar authentication, payment status, grievance management, and mobile app. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi ( PM - KISAN ) is a central sector scheme of the Government of India launched by the honourable Prime Minister on February 2019 and implemented with effect from December 1, 2018.
