Natural numbers are the set of positive integers starting from 1 and going to infinity. They include numbers like 1, 2, 3, and so on. Natural numbers are often used for counting objects or ordering things in everyday life. To count the number of objects in a collection, each object is paired off with a natural number , usually by mentally or verbally saying the name of the number and assigning it to a particular object.
