MVJ College of Engineering was established in 1982 under Bangalore University affiliation as a flagship institution of the Venkatesha Education Society by Dr. M. V. Jayaraman. Initially, MVJCE started with undergraduate programs in four disciplines and a modest intake of 200 students. MVJ College of Engineering , Bangalore was established in 1982 and is recognised by UGC with 2f & 12B status. It received the autonomy status in 2019-20. The college offers 15 UG, 8 PG and PhD courses under 8 Research centres in the streams of Engineering and Management.
