Paris Olympics: Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu finished 4th in the Paris Olympics in women's 49kg final. Chanu , who is the world record holder for 'clean and jerk' was not able to pull off her Tokyo heroics on Wednesday. She won the silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the women's 49 kg event. She has won gold medals at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games. She was awarded the Padma Shri and Khel Ratna Award by the Government of India in 2018.
