Women's World Cup: BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said apart from the prize money for the winners, the cricket board will also award Team India W with Rs 51 crore. Devajit Saikia and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia have been elected as the Secretary and Treasurer of BCCI respectively. Mr. Devajit Saikia and Mr. Prabhtej Singh Bhatia have been unanimously elected as the Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer, respectively, of the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI ). Their appointments follow a by-election held during the Special General Meeting at the BCCI HQ on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Devajit Saikia is an Indian advocate, a former first class cricketer and a cricket administrator. Devajit Saikia is the secretary of the BCCI. Saikia was re-elected as the secretary of the top cricket body of India on September 28, 2025 during their 94th AGM in Mumbai.
